Le choix de la couleur a pris du temps, car nous voulions qu'il soit un élément caractéristique de la pièce. Heureusement, ce client n'avait pas peur de la couleur et après quelques discussions, nous avons opté pour un rouge avec une base plus rose qu'orange. Dès le début, j'ai su que l'intérieur devait être doré, car il se refléterait dans les étagères et le fond en miroir, créant une lueur chaleureuse.

Choosing the colour took some time as we wanted it to be a feature in the room. Luckily this client was not afraid of colour and after some discussion we opted for a red with a more pink as opposed to orange base. From the beginning, I knew that the inside needed to be gold as it would reflect in the mirrored shelves and back creating a warm glow.
One of the shelves had broken glass which I stuck back down and then painted the cracks with gold, creating a star pattern to hide the damage by creating a feature of it. The client was delighted.
